Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra during the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event. These tablets were introduced alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5. This new lineup succeeds the Galaxy Tab S8 tablets that were initially launched in February of the previous year.
The Galaxy Tab S9 series introduces the Tab S9 Ultra, a substantial tablet offering from Samsung. Boasting impressive power, speed, and a remarkable display, this tablet is positioned to rival the capabilities of most 2-in-1 laptops. Particularly well-suited for tasks involving productivity, the Tab S9 Ultra becomes even more effective when paired with a keyboard accessory, albeit at an additional cost. Its display is designed to showcase content vividly, making it a delightful choice for indulging in your favourite shows. Notably, the package includes the S Pen, an excellent tool for jotting down notes or giving life to your creative sketches.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 kicks off its pricing from $799 (approximately ₦728,000), whereas the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ debuts with a base price of $999 (about ₦910,000). As for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, its introductory price stands at $1,999 (roughly ₦1,090,000).
All three versions are accessible in Beige and Graphite colour options. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 is obtainable in the initial configuration of 8GB + 128GB storage and also in the 12GB + 256GB alternative. In contrast, the Galaxy Tab S9+ provides options of 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB, while the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra presents selections of 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB.
The Galaxy Tab S9 lineup is now open for pre-order in specific markets starting today, and it will be generally available from August 11.
Samsung has also unveiled a range of accessories designed for the Galaxy Tab S9 models, which include the Book Cover Keyboard, Book Cover Keyboard Slim, Smart Book Cover, Outdoor Cover, Notepaper Screen, and Privacy Screen.
