Nokia X10 and X20 launched with Snapdragon 480 5G SoC and 3 years of Android updates, Latest phone features on A3Techworld. HMD Global has officially launched its first-ever Nokia-branded budget 5G smartphones in the form of Nokia X10 and Nokia X20.

They’ve been announced alongside the Nokia G series and the Nokia C series budget smartphones in Nigeria.

Both the new Nokia X-series smartphones offer 5G connectivity with the Snapdragon 480 SoC and they run stock Android 11 out of the box and support three years of software updates.

Both X-phones have 6.67” LCDs with 1,080 x 2,400 px resolution. These have average brightness (450 nits) and color gamut coverage (82% NTSC) and lack any fancy stuff like a high refresh rate or even strengthened glass.

The Nokia X20 is powered by the Snapdragon 480 processor, which offers 5G connectivity as well. You may configure the phone with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. A microSD card slot is available for storage expansion.

The phone features a 6.67-inch punch-hole display with FHD+ resolution and 450 nits brightness. The punch-hole cutout houses a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Nokia X20 starts at EUR 349 and the price in Nigeria will be ₦165,000 available in Midnight Sun and Nordic Blue color options. It has 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage options.

At the rear, you get a quad-camera setup with ZEISS optics. The primary camera is a 64-megapixel sensor, paired with a 5-megapixel ultra-wide, and dual 2-megapixel sensors for depth and macro. The device houses a 4,470mAh battery with fast charging support and gets a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Nokia X10 has pretty much the same specifications as the Nokia X20, except for the camera setup. It’s also powered by the Snapdragon 480 chipset, has the same 6.67-inch FHD+ punch-hole display, and houses a 4,470mAh battery as well. Notably, the Nokia X10 and Nokia X20 phones will not ship with bundled wall chargers in the EU regions.

The difference remains in the rear camera setup, the selfie camera, and the RAM/storage configurations. The phone is available with 4GB RAM/128GB storage, 6GB RAM/64GB storage, and 6GB RAM/128GB storage.

The Nokia X10 price starts at EUR 309 and the price in Nigeria will be ₦140,000 available in forest and snow color options. The X10 comes in 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage versions.

In the camera department, the phone gets a 48-megapixel primary rear camera. It shares the other sensors with the Nokia X20. For selfies, there’s an 8-megapixel unit housed in the cutout.

Other features such as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and connectivity remain similar between the two devices.
