iTel Vision 1 Review

Design and Display

The Vision 1 is built with a fine glass front and plastic back design, and it can be bought in either Gradation Blue and Gradation Purple colours. Whichever colour suits your taste. The Vision 1 comes with a 6.08-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel (with waterdrop notch) and a screen resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio with about 81.2 per cent screen-to-body ratio. All this for a moderate price of a phone in its class. The screen can get reasonably bright outdoors at up to 500 nits. On the back is a dual-camera setup with an LED flash unit that somehow resembles the design of the Apple iPhone 11 series.

Itel Vision 1 features a dual rear camera setup that is made relevant by the 8-megapixel primary camera and a 0.08-megapixel depth sensor, characterised by an LED flash. Selfies are well-taken thanks to the 5-megapixel camera with 1.4-micron pixels. Camera features include an AI beauty mode, portrait mode, HDR, and automatic scene recognition. The camera performance is average, its a budget phone after all, what were we expecting. The software in place does have the tendency to increase the brightness levels of images shot even in good lighting situation.

The Vision 1 smartphone gets its power from the Unisoc SC9863A processor, which is also matched with a 2GB RAM. Of course, Being an entry-level processor, the phone really only just manages to open basic applications like WhatsApp, Facebook Lite, Twitter and a few processors demanding games. The entry-level Vision 1 smartphone runs on Android 10 straight out of the box but with a custom skin layered on top of it.
