Infinix set to release a phone that may support 160W rapid charging. XDA shared an image of Infinix’s upcoming 160W charger Last week, it shared a render of a mysterious Infinix smartphone that may arrive with support for 160W charging.
The publication shared a render of a new Infinix phone. It appears that the render belongs to the same handset that was seen along with the 160W charger.
Starting from the front, the forthcoming Infinix phone features a 3D glass display with a punch-hole positioned at the top-left corner. The top and bottom bezels of the phone are quite thin, and it has extremely curved edges.
The handset does not seem to feature a rear-facing or a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The presence of a fingerprint impression on the display suggests that it could be equipped with an OLED panel.
Moving on to the back, the mysterious handset has a large camera lens, a secondary snapper, a square-shaped lens, which looks like a telephoto periscope lens. A huge “Now” branding is imprinted on the rear shell of the device. The handset is equipped with features like volume buttons, a power key, a USB-C port, a speaker grille, and a microphone around its edges.
There are a few flagship phones in the market that carry support for 120W charging, which is currently the industry’s fastest wired charging solution. Phone with 120W charging can fully charge a 4,000mAh battery phone in around 15 minutes. At present, none of the flagship phones with 120W charging solution are available outside China.
Infinix’s 160W fast charging technology may allow users to charge a phone in less than 10 minutes. Hopefully, the company will soon confirm more details about its 160W charging solution.
If an Infinix phone is coming with a 160W charger, it could be packed with top-notch specs. However, since nothing is clear about the Infinix phone with 160W fast charge support, it is advisable to wait for further reports to know more about it.
