*901# is the Access bank code to check your account number on your phone using the phone number linked to your account which must have been registered for the Access USSD mobile banking.

After dialing this code, a menu will pop up on your screen of which you’ll need to select the appropriate options one by one to check your account number.

How to Check Account Number on Access Bank Mobile App

Apart from using the code to check your Access bank account number, the Access bank mobile app is also a means of knowing your account number.

This method is by far the simplest and most straightforward way of checking your account number. However, you’ll need to have already downloaded, installed and activated the Access mobile app on your phone to use this method.

If you don’t have the app pre-installed on your phone, you can easily download it from Google Play Store, and activate it by providing your personal and account details.

Once that is done, you can check your Access bank account number on the Access bank app by simply logging into your account, and your account number will be displayed somewhere on your screen.

How to Check Access Bank Account Number without PIN

To check your account number without a PIN, visit any Access branch around you. Because, without a PIN or ATM card, you cannot get your Access bank account number using the USSD code, mobile app and internet banking on your phone.

For instance, you need a PIN to use *901# for transactions such as checking your Access account balance or number.

Furthermore, you need login details which include a PIN to find your account number on Access mobile app.

A PIN exists to secure your bank account by preventing someone from authorising a transaction without having the secret codes. This is why Access Bank will prompt you to create a PIN when activating the USSD code, mobile app and Internet banking.

Can you use BVN to Get your Access Account Number?

You do not need to use BVN to check your Access account number. Access bank would not ask for it. And entering your BVN cannot retrieve your Access account number or other bank accounts number linked to it.

So, instead of BVN, you use your PIN or ATM card details to check your Access bank account number with a USSD code, mobile app, or customer care.

However, if the reason to use BVN to check your Access account number is that you have no ATM card (or lost) and PIN, visit any Access branch. Go to the customer care unit and a representative will assist you to get your Access account number.
